item not received paypal closed dispute

Wondering it anyone could help. I ordered 2 tablets from china on 3rd december only received 1. Paypal say they only cover the whole order therefore I am not covered for the one Ive not received. When I spoke to them they said they would email the seller and ask them if they would refund the one Ive not received. One week later they have suddenly closed the dispute without warning. So much for buyer protection. Can anyone give me any advice?

The bad news is, once they close a case, it can't be reopened. Not sure why yours was closed, certainly does not sound right. As this is a community forum, there's not much that can done. You can try going thru the corp office.
