I have an interesting issue. I have two deductions from Paypal out of a checking account that I do not have linked to my Paypal account. Both happened on the same day for the same $30 amount. It does not show up in my paypal account anywhere either. I have made a call to my bank about it and they want to investigate. This is the id withdrawing from my account.
WALMART COM INDN ALBERTA VAN NORMAN CO ID:PAYPALSI77 WEB
What I want to know is this a legitimate payment pulled from the wrong account? (Paypal does not have this checking account on file) or is this a scammer pulling money using a paypal guise?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Probably legit.
Are you absolutely certain the bank acocunt is not and has never been linked to your PayPal account?
Do you have a bank acocunt linked to your PayPal account?
Check your PayPal transactions and make sure you can account for the funding on each one. Is there one or more transactions in your PayPal account around that date, especially for a higher amount? Can you account correctly for the funding of each one? How is your PayPal balance adjusted for each one? What PayPal purchases OR SUBSCRIPTIONS occur around that date?
Have you ever purchased form iTunes or World of Warcraft?

No payments through paypal unacounted for. No subscriptions to Itunes or WoW. The account that was debited is not and has never been attached to my paypal. Two $30 debits on one day listed as walmart Paypal? Does not make sense. My paypal is attached to a different checking account and is set up to auto backup from that account. I guess I will have to got hrough my bank as paypal should not have access to that account.

The account in question has no debit card and no checks. It is used solely for auto payments for the house and car.

I will file a claim with my bank. As this account is not attached to paypal they should not have been able to pull from it to start with. The fact that nothing shows up that is not accounted for either from my other checking account or Paypal credit. I was camping away from stores when the charges were made the nearest Walmart 40 miles away. If walmart is the real destination. I will let yoou know what the bank says when they are done.

Just was looking over everything and these debits do not belong to me. Either my name or my wife's name shows up on the transactions depending on who uses the account. Neither of us are Alberta Van Norman. I am sure the bank will take care of this as the dispute has been started.
