How Do I Dispute an Unauthorized Payment?

I have just received an email to say that a payment of £1.79 has been taken from my Paypal account. I did not purchase this item and so I think my account has been hacked. I have been trying to find a way to report this but can't.

Can anyone advise what I can do please?

I'm sorry to hear that an unauthorized purchase was made on your PayPal account. 😞

Here's how to report an unauthorized transaction:

1. Log in to your account.
2. Click Resolve a problem with a purchase near the bottom of the page.
3. Click Dispute a transaction.
4. Click Report a Problem.
5. Follow the steps to report the transaction.
6. After you report the unauthorized transaction, change your password to better protect your account.
