For best protection only paywhen you receive a PayPal invoice which includes ALL of the details, including any warranties you accepted. Then pay with a credit card for most protection.
You should also have the business name, phone number, and physical address of the seller.

Cheers for reply.
Seller is a private person, not business and payment will be done based on Paypal invoice from seller.

How much do you really trust this seller? That's probably the most important consideration. How confident are you that the seller will fulfill your request to you satisfaction.
Protection from PayPal should not be a reason to deal with an unreliable seller.
