Paypal Credit Statements

Hello,

Is anyone else unable to view Paypal Credit, formerly Bill Me Later Statements?

This error has been occurring on since BillMeLater became PaypalCredit.

I need to see my full statement not just the balance and amount due.

On the Summary page, when I click on "Paypal Credit" it goes to:

https://www.paypal.com/myaccount/credit

the tab shows: PayPal: Internal Error and the page shows the error message:

"We are not able to process your request. Please try again later."

cheers, Idi

I'm having the same problem as well as getting sent to billmelater, which sends me back to paypal, which sends me back to billmelater and around and around.

SOMEONE NEEDS TO FIX YOUR WEBSITE IN REGARDS TO PAYPAL CREDIT!

and that's the truth.

Have read your suggestions, but still can't get the paypal credit site to work.  This is a bill, with charges that need to be checked and billing to make sure works.  I ordered something that was over my limit like I did with billmelater and the order just dissappeard.  I couldn't even find the order on ebay so that I could pay for it another way. I LOST AN ORDER ON EBAY THAT WAS FREE SHIPPING FOR OCTOBER, and I can't get the clearance stuff again.

PLEASE GET THIS FIXED.  IT TOOK ME DAYS TO FIGURE OUT WHAT TO BUY AND NOW IT'S GONE.

Well, Marily, I have tried clearing my cache from all 3 browsers that I have attempted, with no success to simply VIEW MY STATEMENTS. You say you'll "probably need to take a closer look at what's happening". Why, I think that is a FANTASTIC IDEA, seeing as many, many, many people on this forum have noted that they are having the EXACT same issue. Why don't you take a peek & then FIX IT. Just FIX IT. FIX WHAT YOU BROKE and stop blaming the customer. FIX IT.

It's not an unreasonable request for a person to ask to see their billing statement, is it? In fact, it might be a legal requirement. The Credit Card Accountability Responsibility and Disclosure Act of 2009 companies provide account holders with clear and understandable forms and statements. That is not happening here. In fact, despite the best efforts of many people, it appears to be impossible to view one's balance or statement activity.

I would encourage you, PayPal, to fix this. To all the customers being ignored by PayPal & their refusal to fix what they broke, I would encourage you to file a complaint with the Federal Trade Commission at https://www.ftccomplaintassistant.gov

I see from other messages that I'm not the only one frustrated with this.  I would like to get my statement sent to me monthly so that I know what's going on with my account.

I also won't be using paypal for anything until all of this is fixed.  Getting a paper statement will help with that.

I will try to find a way to request a paper statement, but I have little hope of that, since I can't find anything else without going on a carousel, round and round and round we go.

I finally stumbled on my purchases and a lot of info about my account.  It was wonderful to finally see what's going on according to paypal.

I was supposed to receive a refund of over $200 and paypal said they never got it, this was on Oct 20th.  They kept sending me (just like here) a form letter saying it was never received.  How am I supposed to trust Paypal when they can't even get a working website.  I think that since it happened with all this changeover, they just lost it.

My faith in paypal is gone.  I made my last purchase from ebay this last week (using my credit cards) and now my time will be paying off the paypal credit bill and not using it paypal again.  Maybe it's for the best, but I feel sorry for the ebayers that won't be selling stuff.  I guess if I just don't use the credit part, well, I'm not sure if I trust paypal anymore.  It's been such a great thing, but this change has me not trusting the whole system.

I'm glad they'll finally, maybe look into the problem, as said by the commentator. (They really just think we're all idiots and just aren't smart enough for anything.)

Thank you for posting to the PayPal Community Help Forums.

Please try the solutions outlined below.

We suggest using an alternate browser to access your PayPal Credit account through PayPal.

For personal PayPal accounts please make sure you are using the email address linked to your PayPal Credit and PayPal account.

For business PayPal accounts, please make sure you are using the correct email address. Then, at the very top of the screen, please click "Switch to the new PayPal".

Next please click the "Money" tab and PayPal Credit. Your statements should be visible in the PayPal Credit tab.

If these solutions do not help, PayPal Credit would be happy to assist by social media via Twitter or Facebook. You can also reach customer support at 866-528-3733  7 AM to 1 AM ET Monday-Friday, and 9 AM to 11 PM ET Saturday-Sunday.

All of the responses from PayPal have the same lame information!  We ask what happened to the original full statement that was printable in pdf form; it was in use up until July of this year?  The last one I was able download was on June 20 of this year.  It had the PayPal logo on the top left corner and included an orange shopping cart logo.  This was a "full" statement.  It had all the information that all banks and accounts use.  The PayPal responders only tell us how to get the "new" statement which is not a statement but simply data of transactions.  It has no balance and, due date and all the other true statement information.  I read somewhere that the bank which PayPal uses can provide the statement, but the link was incorrect.  Please all PayPal responder,

look at a bank statement and you see what PayPal calls a statement in fact NOT a statement.  Will there ever be access to a "True" statement?
