PP Debit in the Mail - How long?

Hi Guys,

I meet all of the requirements for having a Paypal Debit Card. Since my employer pays me via Paypal, I'm considering getting a Paypal Debit Card. I noticed on the Paypal Debit page that it takes 2 - 4 weeks for the card to come in the mail. I live in an urban area where the mail is pretty fast.

Can anyone provide any insight as to how quickly the Paypal Debit Card comes in the mail? I'm sure there's a more realistic window than 2 to 4 weeks.

Hopefully you've received your card by now.  I know mine took about 2 weeks but it can take longer depending on how many debit cards need to be created and mailed during any 2-4 week period of time.

I requested my card on March 1 and it still hasn't arrived. Should I be concerned yet?

I would be concerned if it doesn't show up by this time next week.  We're still within the 2-4 week time but just to be sure, you may want to attempt the Debit Card application again (link).  If it let's you submit the application then it means the first application didn't come through properly. If you're not able to submit the application again, then the debit card has been ordered and should be on it's way. 🙂

If you never received an email letting you know the Debit Card was on it's way, then I would definitely try the application again.

Interesting. So there's an email that goes out when the Debit Card has been mailed / printed? If so, that's super helpful. Now, did the card come within 2 weeks of applying for it, or do you mean it cames within 2 weeks of getting the notification email. How long did it take to arrive after getting the notification email?

I should clarify. An email is not sent out when the debit card is sent but you should have received an email within a couple days letting you know that the application has been approved and the card will arrive within 2-4 weeks.

It's been a long time since I ordered mine but I remember receiving an email within 2-3 days saying that my application had been approved.  After that it took about 2 weeks.

If you never received an email that the application had been approved, I would try to submit the application again.
