sending money to a friend

Hi, I want to send money to a friend. I have a PayPal account but she does not. If she creates one, how long does it take to get the money to her? Does it transfer to her bank account right away or is there a delay? Thanks

Just send money to her email address.  PayPal will notify her that she has a payment with directions to set up an account.  When she signs up and confirms her email address, she will see the amount in the balance.  She will need to add and confirm a bank account which would take up to a few days to verify the bank account. Then she has to transfer the money to her bank which may anywhere take up to another 5 days, depending on the bank.  Therefore, no, it will not automatically transfer to her bank right away.  All transfers have to be request by Transfer to bank link and PayPal process the request.  You have a PayPal account, you should know this already.
