refund from ebay

im having trouble with a seller issuing a refund to me from an item i sent back. he was saying there was an error an issuing the refund because the case is still open from me sending the phone back for a refund but there is no open case for it, he told me to close the return case and the refund wont be on hold anymore but i dont see an open case for the phone in order to do that. what could be the problem and how can it be solved

are you sure it is the right seller?

if this is Ebay item,then go to My Ebay and look up the item listing and see if you have open a case of return?

you must have communicated withhim to ask for return,so how did you do it,if you do it via Ebay by clicking returns,then it is an Ebay case,did Ebay send you a return label?

if there is no case open,then there is no place to upload tracking.

its the right seller. i did request to return the item and the seller accepted it and recieved it, ebay sent me a shipping label and i shipped it back to the seller.

if ebay sent you a return label,then the case is open,you need to look into My Ebay/returns and find the case.

there should be a tracking number already there and click on it and see if it says delivered to the seller address.

if so,then if seller does not refund,Ebay robot will,

you can call EBay custome service and ask them to find this listing and ask them to close the case and refund you .

(The seller said he cant refund because eBay is holding the fund,then ask Ebay to release it)

it says that the seller has to december 6th to issue the refund and if i have not gotten by then i can talk to ebay about it

go to My Ebay,then purchase history,on top of the page,there should be returns and cancelled orders.
