im having trouble with a seller issuing a refund to me from an item i sent back. he was saying there was an error an issuing the refund because the case is still open from me sending the phone back for a refund but there is no open case for it, he told me to close the return case and the refund wont be on hold anymore but i dont see an open case for the phone in order to do that. what could be the problem and how can it be solved
if you biought it on Ebay,file item not as descrived and get Ebay to review,it will send you a shipping label for return,but you have already return the item,so just upload your tracking number.
if Paypal,open item not as described,escalate to Paypal review,when Paypal ask you to return the item ,then justupload the tracking number.
Paypal robot will come around and see tracking said returned,it will refund
The problem is that the funds are on hold because the case is open so PayPal won't let me issue a refund. There is an option within eBay to "issue refund" but when I click it it keeps giving an error message. I'm not trying to be difficult either and I'm pretty tech savvy. I can send you the money direct to your PayPal but then I'm stuck with all the eBay and PayPal fees that should be refunded to me when I issue your refund. Close the return case and the funds will no longer be on hold and I'll be able to refund.
