Transaction cannot be processed

I have recently within the last month made a paypal account in lieu of processing ebay payments directly. This being said, i have tried using every payment method available with no success. I get an error message saying this transaction cannot be processed every time. Additionally id like to add that ive linked my bank account, credit card and debit card to my paypal account, all of which are working properly outside of paypal. After dealing with all this frustration (i have $750 of ebay items i currently need to pay off cant ** thanks paypal) i saw a promotion for paypal credit and thought ok ill bite the bullet and make an account. So i did and was accepted for a credit line of $5000. So relieved i even got that to work out i go to try and pay my ebay purchases off and what do you know, same thing. I just want to understand one thing, what good is a payment platform, its sole purpose being to *send payments, if it cant send payments. Quite mind boggling.. Very frustrating. Im at the end of my rope....

@Georgekerley

Well millions of others open paypal account and use them without a problem, even i managed it and i am not techie minded.

But if you can confirm >>

Are you opening a U.S paypal account and you are actually in the U.S?

If so then you have a U.S bank account and card linked?

Have you verified your paypal email address?

It seems you don't appreciate help from other users.  If you want help you need to be willing to provide details about your account and activities.

You can always phone PayPal support for direct information.

Sorry my polite enquiry on getting the facts met with your rude response.

And personally I could not care less what you have done for the U.S as I don't live in your country, I was just trying to ascertain FACTS.

And what research do you suggest I do as this is just a community help forum?

Think I have an idea now but guess you don't want to hear it as I agree with @DPCreations in that you don't want our help.

Bye

Hi,

I have the same issue, contact Paypal and they have said it happens on 'some' accounts, the only way round for me is to pay via sortcode/account to Paypal account.

I have the same problem. I'm using PayPal for few years now and I had no problem with it, until these last 2 months I believe. When I want to pay for something, it keeps saying "the payment was declined" or "this transaction cannot be processed" even though I have enough money on both my PayPal and my bank account (I tried the credit card as well and it was also declined, but that might be because I'm from Czech Republic and they might not accept these cards). I checked out the limits and they are fine too.

This is happening to me too now.It keeps declining my purchases although PayPal credit says I have plenty of money. All accounts have been verified and I've spoken with customer service 5 plus times no and they said " sorry, there isn't anything they can do. It's a security thing that happens sometimes and they can't fix it". The advice was to wait it out and it might fix it self or try shopping at different stores and seeing if the system will approve that. No No joke. So I did, and that didn't work either. This is sooooooo frustrating and bad for a payment platform. The one thing they are supposed to do for me they are not. Not happy.
