PayPal keeps saying my number is not associated with my account and not letting me confirm identity through PayPal invoice. My number is connected and its still not letting me receive payment.

What are you doing?  Were you trying to send an invoice and they are asking you to confirm your phone number?

How old is your account?  Could be some risk/security issue that triggered the confirm identity prompt so you would need to contact PayPal to get it sorted:

Kudos & Solved are greatly appreciated. 🙂

I received payment from an invoice and its asking to verify my account and I'm linking my bank account with it. When I do that it asks to send a code to my phone for verification and when I put in my number it says it doesn't match when that's the only number I use.

@tvarra

Did you send a PayPal invoice to a prospective buyer for payment?

I'm trying to figure out what you are really doing with an invoice.

Why is the payment pending?

What are the details on the transaction page, OK to ship or not?

Did the invoice have all the item details AND picture?

How will you defend a buyer claim of not as described?  It will likely happen, so be prepared.

Selling an iMac is extreemely high risk of loss.
