I purchased a couple things a few days ago for around $145 and it apparently went through, but then the company canceled the transaction and issued me a refund. I got the email from the company and paypal saying my refund was issued. When I look on my recent payment history on paypal it shows the transaction and it says refunded but the money is not in my bank account or my paypal account.
I paid directly from my bank account not a credit card. How long will it be for me to see my refund?

If you funded the original paypal payment to the seller with a debit or credit card then it won't go back to your paypal balance.
Once marked as completed it will automatically go back to your bank account or credit card but takes up to a week to process through to the bank and a bit longer for a c.c.

Thanks all for the responses. When I look at my account, I see a zero balance. However, since I last checked I ordered something else and it appears to have been paid for from my paypal account. I have never seen any funds sitting in that account. Maybe I'm looking in the wrong place. I am going to stop using PayPal to buy things, pretty much.

Here is something I found on paypal Q and A:
Refunds will remain pending until the seller's funds have cleared their bank.
Refunds made less than 60 days after payment will refund to your credit card if it was the original source of payment. Refunds may take 30 days to appear on your credit card statement. Payments from other sources are refunded to your PayPal balance.
This sucks.. waiting on 2 refunds of 365$ can't wait 30 days to get it.. mannn

I had a refund coming to me and was sent an email that it was posted to my account. I am not seeing it. It was for $25.02.
It was posted on December 3rd. I am also not seeing any of the transactions I recently did on ebay and paid through paypal. These were transactions done for Christmas presents so it was around the 1st of December. Where did you hide those?

Click on the "history" tab on your paypal account and you should be able to see them.
As for your refund how did you fund the original payment to the seller that was refunded??
