I am in Texas and use USD as my PayPal's account's primary currency; I want to accept money from friends in Latvia with EUR that they will send. Some friends want to send me some money. I know I can accept their EUR as USD, but I just want to know how to calculate what fee *I* will be assessed, here in the United States, using USD as my primary currency, when they send me a certain amount of Euros to be converted to USD for me. Thank you.

Hello travisj,

You can view the cross-border fee for your account by following these steps:

  1. Go to www.paypal.com and log into your account.
  2. Click ‘Fees’ at the bottom of any PayPal page.
  3. Click ‘transaction fee for cross-border payments’.

This should provide you the information you would need to calculate what the fees may be for this payment.

I don't see, "Cross-Border Transaction Fees" anywhere on the

page.

But whenever I am trying to read on there, is it saying that it is my friends in Latvia who will pay the fee, if they send me money and I convert it to US Dollars?
