How to contact a real person from customer support for lifting limit off my account?

It's been almost 3 weeks since Paypal withheld a significant amount of money from me. I've been trying to lift the limit of my account but unfortunately without any success. I sent photos of a bank letter with my name and address on it. Then I received an email stating that the address on the document should be exactly the same as the one in the account. I edited my Paypal address word by word to match the address in the letter. Then I received another auto email that this document is actually not valid - this is outrageous. I can't understand why I was asked to change the address word by word if it wasn't a valid document anymays...

I don't have utility bills with my name on them because I am renting the place, Bulgarian driving licenses don't have the full address written on them and I receive and pay my phone bill online. So this bank letter is the document that actually proves I live on the paypal address. I messaged Paypal's Facebook page several days ago but I only receive auto replies. I tried contacting them via their website support and again I received just an autoreply that wasn't even on the same subjects .... worst customer service I've experienced so far.

So this forum is my last hope. Please tell me how should I contact and speak to a real person regarding my problem? I want to lift the limit and get my money back because I need them.

If anyone has an advice, please do share.

Thank you, @DPCreations and @sharpiemarker for your answers.

Today finally I got an answer through PayPal's facebook page. Someone personally checked my case and manually returned my account to regular standing.

So my advice to other customers with the same problem is to be persistent with the facebook page support. At least it won't cost you a huge phone bill.

Thank you, but I've read in different forum topics that people have waited for ages before they actually contact a real operator. Paypal already has a decent amount of my money, I don't want to pay a huge phone bill because of them as well.

Sorry, but this is user to user forum, we do not have access to your account so all specific account issues must be called into customer service.

You can scan and send in a bank statement, credit card statement, phone, gas, electric, or health insurance bill that has your name and address as on your PayPal account that is clear for PayPal to read, is the best advice I can give.

I've seen on other threads that there are actual people from Paypal answering to some of the threads. So I was hoping for that.

Thank you for sharing the accepted documents. I've already read them several times and sent whatever I could but without any success of lifting the limit.

Admins will review postings from time to time, but, for account specific issues the response is to contact PayPal support directly as account-specific issues are not discussed publicly.

Thanks for your answer, @DPCreations

How do you suggest to contact PayPal support directly? Via phone?

Click on the "contact" link at the bottom of the page and then phone options at the top.  Select the phone call with one-time passcode, so you get a better response time.  Even so, I've heard of long waits.  You may also get an agent who doesn't comprehend your problem.  If you do, just remain polite and perssistent until you reach someone who understands.  It may take more then one phone call.  There are agents who just read from a script and there are others who have knowledge.  It's not the best system, but it's all we have as customers, so we just learn how to manipulate it the best we can.

Thank you for the information.

Still, I can't believe that such a big company like PayPal has such a terrible customer support. Especially when it comes to a sensitive matter like people's money...

It is outrageous that I can't contact them online and have to call them and pay with my phone bill for their broken system.

Big companies, not just PayPal, use a lot of automation and customer service is not good, with long waits; it's not just PayPal.  So we put up with bad customer service of so many companies, it becomes qute acceptable, unfortunately.  As long as th companies make sufficient profit the service is OK.
