I use a VCC in order to verify my paypal account
Earlier today I try to link my tictail account to paypal for the billing part. I inserted the vcc number just like the one I use to verify this account. And suddenly it says "Sorry, but your card issuer declined this payment".
When I got back to my paypal page, I found out that vcc number has been 'unlinked' from the list of cards. And when I try to link it back again it doesn't work and it says " This card is not accepted. Please use a different card"
Why is this happening? Does it have to do with the vcc expiry date? Because it shouldn't be expired until the year 2020

Well, that would be the reason. PayPal would not accept a virtual card; you need a real card linked to a real bank.

VCCs are only good for verifying accounts and lifting limits. Not for actual purchases. Read the terms/purposes of the VCC before using.
Kudos & Solved are greatly appreciated. 🙂
