Adding cash to my paypal account(I'm from another country)

I'm traveling for vacation to the US, I'm from Argentina, and I'm a student that doesn't have a credit or debit card.

When I arrive there, I want to buy a couple of things using cash (no more than 400$). The problem is that those things are only available online. How do I pay them using my cash?

I created an US account, but I can't add my cash since I dont have a SSN, then I created an Argentinian account and it doesn't allow me to add cash through a CVS type store anymore, I just can't put real money into it without a credit card.

Can anyone help me do this?

Buy a Visa, MasterCard or Amex prepaid debit or gift card with the cash at a CVS, Walgreens, etc., then register the card at the website on back of card and use the card to pay directly through the regular credit card option during online check out.  Do not even need a PayPal account at all.
