sent double payment on accident

 I used the friends/family option to send a payment but the first transaction didn't go through for awhile so I thought it got canceled and I sent the payment again. later I noticed both payments went through. 

If they dont resend it back can I do a chargeback?

You could ask the recipient to send you money with a separate transaction from the recipient.

The money will be taken from your PayPal and backup accounts, as you authorized the payments.

You won't be able to demand the money come back.

You could call PayPal customer service to see if they can help, but probably not.
