[VIRTUAL/INTANGIBLE GOODS] Unauthorised use of PayPal account or transaction error

I run a Minecraft server and over the course of a few months (since March) a player bought items from my online store. He was recently banned for breaking sever rules, and now he's filed an "Unauthorised use of PayPal account or transaction error" claim against his payments.

In the response field there's no options aside from proving proof of shipment or refunding the payment. As he purchased virtual goods only, I have no proof of shipping.

Is there any way for me, as a seller, to dispute this?

Will PayPal still investigate whether the use of his account was legitimate if I don't respond (as it's HIGHLY unlikely his PayPal account was hacked)?

Any suggestions or tips you have are appreciated.
