Hi , i am currently selling an item, i have been asked if i will accept an offer before the item ends. I have not got a buy it now price, no one else has made any offers but i have 19 viewed and 4 watching, it has only been on for 4 hours. What do you think i should do?

That's up to you.  Find out what the offer is first.  Read up in eBay what the procedure is For stoping an auction.  Perhaps the better idea is to post in the eBay forums: http://community.ebay.com/t5/Selling/bd-p/selling-db

If it has only been up for 4 hours and someone wants to end the auction early to buy it now than chances are they know the price will climb and want to get it at a steal.  With 19 views in such a short amount of time I would think this will be a good item to leave on.

Once there are bids on your item,you can no longer add a buy it now price so if you want to sell it at a buy it now price,then do it before anyone bid on it.

Once there is a bid ,you will have to cancel the listing and relist,when you cancel a listing which has bid,you will pay Ebay the final value fee of that bid amount.

so you could end up paying Ebay twice,first for the cancelled listing and then for the new listing with a buy it now price.

If you have a $$ in mind which you are happy with,you can tell him what it is,once agreed,REVISEl the listing ,ADD THE BUY IT NOW price and get done with it.
