checks from paypal???and cashing them.

because i didnt want to to add my banking details to paypal i decided to request a check once a month,went to my local check cashing store,and how embarrasing they said they have 4 unpaid checks from paypal and couldnt cash it.well thanks paypal!! so embarassing like i had been passing bad checks,what can i do regarding this any suggestions?

I would call Paypal immediately.

Have you tried to cash it in other store?

thanks for the advice,i called paypal and the person i spoke to told me that paypal checks can only be cashed at a bank,which is difficult as the closest bank is 90 miles away,i find this hard to believe as the store i go to has a seperate check cashing area,they have cashed checks from paypal before for me but apparently paypal are not releasing the cash.i cant find anything on paypals rules and regulations that say anything like that.is there anyone you can speak with except agents?

If you have a bank account,you can mail the deposit in.

Or you may want to link your bank account with your Paypal account

Or get a Paypal debit card ,it will take the fund out of your PAYPAL account

It would likely be a security issues as a way to prevent illegal money transfers, anonymous payments, and money laundering.  Banks have security to prevent those occurences; check cashing services want to be anonymous.

A third party could cash the check, but there is a risk when this third party goes to the bank and the bank refuses payment as the person presenting the check isn't the person named on the check.

I don't think you would find a PayPal customer service to suggest a way to circumvent secutiy processes.

Can he ask Paypal to issue a check payable to another person,and that person is a friend who has a bank account.

Give that check to him and ask him for cash,fair exchange,or give him extra few bucks for his effort

Apply for a PAYPAL debit card,it will draw on your PAYPAL fund/

It can also be used as a credit card,if you have a business account,you get 1% cash rebate from PAYPAL.

Can you buy money order with your credit/debit card in supermarket,I know we can buy stamps in supermarket with our credit card.

Also Paypal debit card can be used to get cash at Bank ATM machine,fee would apply.

If they can counterfeit USPS postal money order,they can counterfeit any check.

Once I received 4 USPS postal money orders from a merchant in Malta ,thats what he claimed he is from.

The USPS postal orders came from UK and the name of the person on them is a Pakistani man in Georgia,our Ga.

I looked up online to find out how to tell the difference ,it turns out these postal orders do not have water mark and the texture is thicker.

I called USPS fraud investigation dept and they asked me to forward these postal orders,I should have kept one for myself as souvenir.

The  USPS lady is not surprised,I am not the first and neither would I be the last.

If your local store has received 4 Paypal checks which bounce,Paypal must know by now,call them !
