Withdrawal of $ 1000 from PayPal to my Visa Credit Card missing since 4 months

Hello,

I placed a withdrawal of funds $ 1000 (net amount $ 995) from PayPal account to my Visa Credit Card on February 23, 2016. Several days passed, I did not get the money into my card. I asked PayPal what happened to this withdrawal, they told me to wait for 14 days, then again I contacted them after 14 days, they told me to wait for 30 days. After 30 days over, I contacted them, they gave me Trace Number to show to my Card issuer bank, then they will find out. I contacted my bank and gave this Trace Number. They told me they do not recognize these numbers. They bluntly told me that we have not received any payapl funds to your credit card. We are helpless; you contact your Service Provider - Paypal. Since then I am contacting PayPal, every time I need to explain my case, everyone talks very sweet, but at the end of the zero result. Finally, PayPal wrote to that they cannot do anything in this regard, they asked me to communicate to my card issuer again and again. This is their last message: 

We are unable to do further trace on your funds at this time. Please continue to communicate with your card issuer as they are the best person who can help resolve the issue.

Pray tell me how I will get my money back? Whom should I contact now? Please look into this matter; it is 3 months and 3 weeks over now. I have been patiently waiting all these days. I have written more than twenty letters to PayPal and talked to their Representative a dozen times, and I have sent several messages to my Saudi British banker SABB, who issued my Visa Card issuer and talked to them more than a dozen times. WHAT ELSE YOU WANT ME TO DO TO GET BACK MY MONEY?

PAYPAL SAYS THE WITHDRAWAL WAS SUCCESSFULL BUT THEY BANK SAYS THEY DID NOT GET ANY FUND FROM PAYPAL TO MY CREDIT CARD.

I EARNESTLY APPEAL TO EVERYONE TO GUIDE ME HOW I CAN GET BACK MY MONEY.

This is a U. S. PayPal Community forum, but it appears that you are not in the U. S. as withdrawal to a credit card is not possible in the U. S.

 

Perhps if you provided your geographic location and the name and location of your VISA bank someone could provide some insight.

I might also help if you provided some details of the transaction as it shows in your PayPal activity list.

I am a Resident of Saudi Arabia. My Visa card is issued by Saudi British Bank called SABB. On February 23, 2016, I withdraw an amount of $ 1000 ($ 995 net) from my Paypal balance to my Visa Credit Card. Paypal says the transaction was successful. But I did not get this money into my credit card. Nearly four months now. Paypal say ask your card issuer bank and the bank says we cannot help in this regard, ask you service provider. I provided all the bank statement to PayPal .

 

It is strange that PayPal with such vast potential of up date technologies in hand, failed to trace this payment.  The bank clearly says that it is PayPal whom you should ask where is the money gone. Paypal says ask your bank, they only can trace it.

 

This gives me a lot of tension and I am very much disheartened with Paypal's response so far. The problem now is they are just avoiding my mails altogeether with no response or by sending some autoresponders.

Did you provide your credit card customer service agent with a copy of this record?

Is this the credit card that is currently linked to your PayPal account?

Do you have any other VISA credit cards?

Is your credit card account in US$?

Is your bank headquarters in UK or your country?

Are US$ transfers permitted from your country?

I'm just trying to think any possiible money issues.

 

I suppose you could phone PayPal customer service and attempt to reach an agent who is more knowledgeable; some are much better than others.  It just takes a lot of patience and persistence sometimes to reach the right person.

Same thing happened to me .. my visa card issuer is SABB saudi british bank ,.. i made three withdraws on 

16,20,22 Feb this year ... 500$ each ...

unit now i received nothing ... 

paypal says the problem is with your bank ..

and my bank says the problem is with paypal ..

 

i don't know who to beleive .. after all the 1500$ lost at nowhere ..

Surprised to see the same thing happened to you also, that too on the same time frame. My withdrawal was on February 23, 20156, My Visa Card also issue by SABB only.

Where are you located?

What are you going to do now?

For the last four months I too hearing the same story. PayPal says continue communicate with your card issuer (SABB), as they cannot do any further trave at this time. But bank says, they cannot do anything in this regard as the records show nothing received from PayPal.

Please keep in thouch with me. We just cannot let it go our hard earned money like this.

Please note that we are Visa Inc. and are the company associated with Visa payment cards - not Paypal.
For assistance with Paypal products, including merchant services, please contact them directly. 
Additionally, you may wish to review your merchant agreement for current transaction processing and reporting guidelines.
