Hi, I was wondering if I were to use my paypal credit account for a purchase higher than my credit limit ($600) would I have the option to pay the rest of the balance with my debit card or would the payment go through as credit?
For context, I'm looking to buy a new pc from NewEgg. The pc/parts come to a total of 1,073.97. I can afford to pay this in full via my debit card, but was wondering if I could save some money for now by using my paypal credit account to pay for at least half of this purchase. I'm not too sure how this works. All I've seen is that when making a purchase more than your credit limit, your account will be reviewed for a credit increase. Some elaboration would be a big help to me.
Thanks in advance,
Rob

I don't think the payments can be split. When you attempt a purchase beyond your PayPal Credit PayPal will evaluate your creditworthiness and will automaticall increase your limit if you qualify. I think it will be declined if you don't qualify and you will need to use a different method.
