Uber UV money fraud

Hi all,

Today (08 Apr 2016) I got notification from Paypal app that I sent a payment to Uber UV.

The amount was £49,93.

I reported it as a unauthorised transaction.

After an hour another one-£11.83.

Next one £24.83,

Next £23,38

And another one £76,57.

I changed my pasword and security questions several times but it didn't help.

I also contacted Uber and wait for reply.

I never used Uber at alland no one used my Paypal account whatsoever.

What are the details of each of the transactions as shown on your activity list?

Did you call PayPal for help?  It seems that this should be an urgent matter requiring immediate attention.

Did you open an official dispute for each of the transactions?

Yes I reported each transaction as unauthorised immediately.

Tried to call Pypall but they were closed already.

Not to many details of transactions:

- transaction number,  

- Uber UV website,

- amount

- phone number.

On your computer (not phone screen) does it indicate how the payment was made?

I can't see any attachment otion, could show You screen

It says:

Funding type: Instant bank trasfer

This means it came out of your bank account!

What does your bank account online show?

If it was money taken from your bank account, you should have contacted your bank as soon as it happened.  Your bank should have been able to stop funds immediately.

It's so important to get all available details about the transaction as soon as their is something suspicious.
