Hello!

I have a question aboud adding money to my Paypal account. I have a Mastercard it has $200 on it. On the Paypal website it says we can "add a link" or add our credit/debit cards and it's information to the Paypal website.

Once I fill in my Mastercard information I'd like to add $80 to my Paypal Balance.  Will the money tansfer to my Paypal balance? My Paypal balance is actually $0. ZERO (at the moment).....but I'd like to add the $80 dollars from my Mastercard. Will I be able to see the $80.00 go to my Paypal balance??

Sorry if this is a dumb question. I am new to Paypal.

Ok will answer this in 2 parts >>

1. You can only add or withdraw funds to / from your paypal account balance with a linked bank account (not a card) in the U.S.

2. However you NEVER need funds in your paypal account balance to buy items. As long as you have linked and confirmed a CARD then paypal will take directly from that card when you next pay for a purchase.

Advice is voluntary.
Kudos / Solution appreciated.

With all due respect, your answer is a total fabrication of all the BS that Paypal spews.

I have a zero balance, and I have tried over and over to add funds using my linked and confirmed bank account only to receive this message "you cannot add funds at this time, please contact paypal".

In addition, to my bank account, I have two linked and confirmed credit cards, plus I have PP Credit of which I owe nothing.  I cannot pay an invoice as I keep getting a message "you must add funds to your account".  Is this site based on ignorance?  I have tried to add funds but it won't let me.

Tonight I spoke with a rep and explained that I had to pay an invoice since it is for a much awaited wheelchair that I need desperately.  I was told "I will fix your problem and in one hour you will be able to pay this invoice".  Needless to say, that was a crock of **bleep**!

I HATE PAYPAL.  THERE IS A NEW WEBPAYMENT COMPANY THAT WILL BE LAUNCHING VERY SHORTLY AND IT WILL PUT PAYPAL TO SHAME.  I DEFINITELY WILL POST THE NAME OF THE COMPANY AS SOON AS I LEARN THE LAUNCH DATE.

Not true! I have added 50€ to my Paypal account a few days ago, then i transferred that to my wife's Paypal account. If i what you're saying is true, how could have i added those 50€ to my Paypal account then??? Besides, when trying to reach customer support, all i get is this: Auto Reply: Thanks for messaging us. Due to a high number of messages, we may take a while to reply. Please send us your email. If your inquiry is urgent please try the PayPal Community: http://bit.ly/1W9lsCl or contact us here: http://bit.ly/1W9lsCl Due to the nature of my web based business it is essential that i get funds from my Mastercard to Paypal. Not being able to do so (i have never experienced this sort of issues in the past), i'm loosing money on a daily basis. So, because of your highly unprofessional way of handling the case, you're causing me harm. I would have never thought it could happen. I am terribly disappointed in your service. As soon as i get this situation sorted out, i will never do business with you again. If however this continues i will be forced in taking other measures.
