How To Get A Check Without Using Credit Card and Bank Account

Hello, 

I'm new to withdrawing money from PayPal. My dad and I tried to request a check but when I clicked "Address" link it took me to a section where not only I add my home address but also my credit card information. I want to avoid that as much as I can. Is there another way to get the check from my PayPal account? I have looked through other posts relating to this subject like this one--> /t5/About-Payments/Question-about-requesting-a-check/m-p/1097449/highlight/true#M67493. 

Please let me know or clarify why PayPal wants my credit card information just for adding my address.
