Problem of Being Too Young for Account Verification

For starters, I am 16 and Paypal seemed like the best option for me to use online cash paying for my video game subscription without my parents seeing it, since they regularly check my Debit Card account which is supposed to be used for saving, not spending money. Anyway I haven't recently put in money (through gift cards) to my PayPal account and a preapproved payment is made to the video game subscription and I don't have the funds to pay for it, so I am at 0.00. Online it says I have a 100% completed application so when I try to add money from my Debit Card Account it asks for My SSN. Ok, I have that, but it asks for only 4 digits? I have no clue which 4 digits to enter because my SSN is 9 digits so I enter the last 4. Apparently that was wrong and set off some sort of trigger because now my entire account is limited now and they need special verification. The only problem is! I am 16, and all my stuff will say I was born in 1999 when the earliest I can tell Paypal I was born was in 1998. Since any form of verification would not match with my account, I am in a pickle.

If you owe money to PayPal it will have to be paid.  I can't speak for PayPal and I don't know you will be able to add funds while the account is limited.  PayPal will likely let you know if your balance goes negative.

If it isn't paid then PayPall will submit the debt to a collection agency and report it to a credit reporting agency.  If it goes to a debt colleciton agency, they will find you for payment.

It's probably best to contact PayPay if you don't get any information about debt.

I don't know how a subscription works, hopefully any subscription requests for funds would be denied as the account is limited.

@SimoneCulver

I am glad you are in a pickle as you should obey paypal rules and not open a paypal account until you are 18.

A 16-year old mind is very intelligent at a great time for learning.  With a sharp mind, you'll probably be able to figure out a solution out of your pickle, even it means waiting until 18.  You'll have a lot of time to review all of PayPal polcies.

May I inquire as to how much time I have to solve this problem? I shall definitely review Paypal's policies as you suggested, but if I owe money to Paypal (The Preapproved Video Game Subscription left me at 0.00) how long do I have until this situation becomes a serious problem for me?
