Paid Smart Connect - Payment still due?

I just paid $40 towards my SC bill which was due today. I know it takes a few days for the system to update.....

but i'm  just worried I'll be charged the $25 late fee (absolutely ridiculous by the way)........because it still says "$___ due Aug 5"

It's normal for the due date to remain the same until the next closing date when a new monthly statement or bill has been made for your account and ready for you to view.

Did you receive a receipt right after submitting payment and payment was made before the cutoff time [5pm (ET) on due date]?

my balance now says $540!!!!

I paid $40 and all it did was add money on the balance I owe!?!?

is it a glitch????

right after i paid it said my credit was $35, now its $0

the $35 was added to the balance i still owe?

please tell me this is a minor glitch until it clears??? i paid with my paypal money, it shouldnt be doing this

i dont want to have to take legal action but it looks like they are trying to **bleep** me

Umm, time to get Smart Connect on the blower: 866-571-3012

My brother has Smart Connect in his acct and I never quite understood the workings of it. lol

At quick glance, it 'seems' to me that the Balance is your credit line and what you pay is added and part of the credit line you got...it's weird and doesn't make sense to me. lol I don't par take in PayPal's credit products so...too weird for me.

Actually the balance is the amount I owe.

Ugh, it seems i have to contact them for EVERYTHING nowadays........ there's literally never one time where something goes right with these guys.

any way you could ask your brother. The "Available Credit" is how much I can spend.........the balance i owed was $504, and after paying it my credit raised to $35....but the next day my credit was $0 and the balance was $540....even though my limit is $500 and i JUST paid it...i'm hoping it's just in limbo until it all processes...

The $504 balance should now be $464, after paying the money due. instead the payment acted as if i had spent it, not paid it...and it went up to $540....................

Literally makes NO sense.

Wait a minute, you did not by mistake paid your Smart Connect bill with Smart Connect?  Because that's what it seems like by your explanation. Or is what PayPal is making it appear to be.  

Since PayPal split from eBay, their system went haywire.  Smh.
