Known Issue: Payments not appearing on sender or receiver's account

Update:  Engineers are reporting the issue with transaction delays was fixed late last night (around 2am ET).  Typically a transaction may take a few minutes to appear in the account activity and we are back to that normal behavior.  Thanks for your patience during this issue.

Hi everyone,

Our engineers are aware of an issue right now where payments are not immediately appearing in the account activity for both senders and recipients.  We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and our engineers are working to fix this as soon as possible.

This issue appears to be causing a delay in when the payments appear.  The transaction is initiated, it's just not appearing on the website for up to 4-5 hours in some cases (the time appears to be random).

I will update this post when we have more information and to let everyone know when the fix has been implemented.

I sent $300 to a family member this morning. I had 118 in paypal account the rest was to come from my bank. Recieved no notice, emails nothing. Either did family member. Now my paypal Account is ZERO and my money is gone. This needs to be fixed. What are people supposed to do who trust this service. On hold now for 1000 years with "customer support"

I am having the exact same problems , issue is - payment was taken when I paif for the item , The order status on ebay shows that the payment was made , and in my activity that there has no payment activity as in not purchased the item , but the monies was taken at the time of payment 😞

i was trying to send money to a family member ..i even sent money twice because i thought it was a browser problem or something but paypal did took the money.

Update - After setting up a new forum post the payment came though 10 mins later ha 🙂

UPDAte: i JUST RECEIVE mine. After more than 3 hours of waiting.  Thank God!

I received 3 payments today on my business account and all show up. The transaction times were 615am, 7am, and 145pm. However on my personal account I got a payment around 2pm and it's not showing at all. I can see the transaction details if I go from eBay to "see PayPal tranaction" but no funds added to account.

I've sent money, but it's not being received or being shown as sent. This is pretty frustrating.

Same here, 

Sold item on our shop, payment confirmed but : 

- No emails from Paypal.

- No payment in history.

From past experience, I guess may will come later and payment too, but order processing is delayed because of this.

Paypal should act quickly !
