I want to print out all of my PayPal transactions from January 1, 2014. In the past it was always possible to access past records, albeit with some effort. It now appears that PayPal has completely removed the feature. I don't know how in the modern age PayPal can't make ALL records for each member completely accessible at all times.
I'm grateful for someone to tell me how this is done -- or if it can be done at all.

You still can, however it seems PayPal has limited transaction queries to 2 years worth of transactions. So if you want every transaction from January 1st 2014 up to today, you'll have to download multiple transaction reports.
Here's how to do it:
From your PayPal main menu, click on Activity and then click on Statements and then click on Activity Export
Now from this screen, select Custom Date Range and input 01/01/2014 and 31/12/2015
Select the file type for download (ie. PDF - All Activity) and then click Download History
It might seem like it's not doing anything, but give it a minute. It's a little slow, but it will download.
Now you'll have all your PayPal transactions for the entire year of 2014 and 2015.
To keep going, repeat the steps again and change the date range to 01/01/2016 and 31/12/2017
Download and then repeat a final time with 01/01/2018 to 22/01/2018
Kind of annoying having to download multiple times instead of a single PDF with every transaction, but it is what it is.
Now you should have every transaction from January 1st 2014 up until present day.
Hope this helps

I tried what you said above but I am unable to enter any date earlier than 2015. I seem to remember that I was able to search back through all my old transactions - was I imagining that or have they changed things?
