Paypal account not instant anymore?

My paypal account has be instant since as long as i can remember, at first it wasnt and took a few days. I dont use credit card and only use bank account. It was avaliable for me up until my last purchase on the 30/1/2013 and not they just arent accpeting anything how it used to, ive tried it on multiple sites that i commonly go to and purchase. Has my paypal changed or has paypal in general changed?

Same here. Used to pay everything instantly trough my bank account. And now suddenly nothing gets accepted anymore and I did a payment trough an e-check without me knowing it. Now I have to wait a long time for it...

What happened paypal ?

My experience has been that it works one day then the next it doesn't ... and so on and so on ....

Never know from one day to the next and of course Paypal has no answers.

The most trolling aspect in all this is : you can't buy say 30$, but the 50$ option on same site using same account will pass... Or click 30$, doesn't pass for instant, cancel, come back within 2 mins, success..... And please, if I had a CC in the first place, I wouldn't pay through Paypal, so why harass me to add 1 to my account if my only purpose for Paypal is to pay with bank account.....

I am experiencing the same problem. Sometimes the instant transfer will pass, sometimes it's as an echeck, sometimes it doesn't work at all.

I have bought a part couple months back via instant transfer, last month, I wanted to buy the SAME car part and paypal wouldn't let me pay via instant transfer nor echeck. I have emailed the company and the lady told me that she had fixed the issue. I tried again and I still wasn't able to purchase the item. I cleared my cache, and still nothing. I emailed them back and they took FOUR DAYS to answer me. Asked me to clear my cache, which was already done. The issue has never been fixed and they never replied to any emails I have sent. 

Now today, there is a sale that goes until Sunday on a website and I really wanted to buy an item. The payment won't pass as instant transfer nor echeck, AGAIN. The sad part is, I ALREADY BOUGHT FROM THAT WEBSITE 3 TIMES THE PAST FEW MONTHS.

I have emailed paypal AGAIN and I have a feeling that I will not be able to buy anything from that website. I have over 150 ebay transactions the past 12 months and if this isn't fixed in time, I will never use their service again.

Hi, 

i use Paypal to get my games

Last time it worked was june 23 on Steam 

now i can only pay with echeck on humble bundle - gamersgate is still working with Instant transfer for now

Steam and greenmanGaming ask me to link a credit card and i dont have one 

what i am mad about is i talked to steam and they say it's Paypal i called Paypal and talk for over 30 min and they say everything is ok on their side and it's Steam  they are asking for CC and not Paypal

when you check the FAQ Paypal is saying you need Backing source from Debit, CC or bank account and another place saying you dont need  a debit/CC just like the Paypal Support guy i spoke to

i just want somebody to tell me why it stop working and not tell me is the sellers fault

anyway hope they fix it soon :S

Sadly the only way fo fix this (sorta) is to buy a prepaid credit card (any amount), add it to your account and surprisingly everything goes smoothly after.............................. Thanks Paypal.

exactly what i did yesterday i got myself a vanilla MC and no more problems 

i didn't wanna get one at first didn't no if it was going to work, then i said what the hell and got one

:S now i can't stop buying games(3 so far) since i missed the steam sales 2 weeks ago because of that problem lol
