I am a seller and my case is closed but I am still worried.. Help?

Sorry for the clickbait-ish title, but I need some assistance ASAP so I can stop pulling out my hair.

I recently sold a concert ticket to a guy (through PayPal, not Ebay), and he received the ticket, emailed me that the seats were nice, yadayada. A few days pass and he hits me with a dispute where he claims that the ticket didn't work.

I honestly don't know what is what, but I contacted TicketMaster (the company I bought the ticket from), and they said the ticket was working, and it WAS used that night, so PayPal obviously decided in my favor, thankfully. I was the one who escalated it to PayPal, not the buyer.

Now that the case is closed by PayPal in my favor, I'm worried that he is going to try and re-open the case if possible. He sent me what looked to be a fake PDF saying the ticket didn't work, when I have outright proof it worked from TicketMaster, but I am still worried something will happen.

ANYWAYS, my question is this - since I sold through PayPal, not eBay, and since PayPal closed it  - does the buyer have an option to reopen a case, or possibly dispute the closed case?

I'm pretty new to this, and money is precious so I want to make sure I can brace myself, just in case.

Thanks!

tl;dr - Can a buyer reopen/dispute a closed case that was decided in seller's favor? If so, how long does that window of opportunity last?

What was the nature of the dispute:  not received or not as described?

The buyer can appeal the case with PayPal.

If the buyer paid with a credit card the buyer could still pursue a case there.

It was submitted as a "not as described". And I am unsure if it was credit, debit, or paypal balance.

You would not know the funding source used by the buyer as that is not disclosed by PayPal.

My guess is that you did not use tracking for shipping the tickets.  You are quite fortunate that the buyer filed the dispute as no as described.  The could have automatically won a dispute of non-delivery when there is no tracking to show delivery.

Yes, I am very glad that was the case, but I am asking if they're able to reopen or dispute the case even after PayPal decided in my favor?

The can appeal the case to change outcome.
