So I’m selling a coat. He sent me one payment for 5.00 then a second for 670.00. We did it as a friends and family transfer. I’m a first time seller. I think I should refund the money and tell him one transaction through the selling goods section. With the shipping address. I’m going to send the item certified mail, with signature, and that he can’t change the shipping address. Does this make the transaction secure?!? Is there anything else I need to do?!? Also should I wait for the funds to clear in my bank account before sending the item?

Suggest you return ALL funds and take time to research PayPal User Agreement.
You are setting yourself up to lose the coat AND the money with so many mistakes.
Click on Legal at the bottom of the page and then User Agreement.
