I am stuck!

So I accidently clicked upgrade my account to business, and now whenever I go to paypal.com and log in, it redirects me to choose what category your business is. I have tried to go to a different page such as paypal.com/myaccount/home, and tons of other links but it all redirects me to choose what business category. Plus I cannot go through the process because I do not have an EIN to complete it anyways, and there is no cancel button anywhere..

Someone please help, thanks!

Firstly if you are going to be selling then you need a business account but if you are not a registered business you can select the individual pathway.

 

HOWEVER if you are not going to be selling then contact customer services and they should be able to downgrade it again for you   >>>

 

Click on the words "Contact" at the bottom of your paypal account summary page and use the phone option (if there is one in the country you are in) > click on the "call us" option on the left (fees "may" apply so check the cost with your phone tariff first, as you sometimes have to wait a while to connect).

When you get through don't select any options just hang on till you get transfered to an agent or say the word "agent".



OR have you considered contacting Customer Service via Facebook or Twitter?

You can send them a personal message from their facebook or twitter pages.

Use your SS number.

 

Or, call PayPal customer support for help.  Use the one-time passcode for better service.
