The product that I sell is made to order and takes about 14 days to make and ship. I would like to allow people to order one but delay the withdrawl of their funds until the item is shipped. How can I set up my PayPal account to do that? I got this idea when i recently ordered a camera from GoPro and paid with Paypal. I got a message stating that my account would not be charged until the item is shipped.

There is an option, it's called Authorisation and Capture and it is available to certain businesses on PayPal. The order status shows as pending until you fully 'accept' and capture the funds once the stock is ready for shipment.
Best bet is to give customer service a quick call and they will be able to see if your account is eligible and get that set up for you.
