Estimted availability of funds date

I am new to selling on PayPal.  I have sold an item, supposedly it's been paid by the buyer, I have shipped it, and it has been received.  Ebay shows today's date as when my "Estimated availability of funds" however there is no sign of any transaction in PayPal at all.  What am I doing wrong? 

So far I am not having a great experience with PayPal.  Their "customer service" is horrible.  When I try calling I am on hold for hours on end and I haven't been able to find any sort of email address to communicate with them.

You should never send any items until the payment is showing in your paypal balance, even if its on hold under the seller new seller temp hold policy.

Where did you ship the item, which country?
