Hi, can someone please advise. I sent my friend £70 however it said E-cheque and completion date was 10 days away. So I sent the money again from card which my friend received instantly. 10 days later the e-cheque failed from my bank as I didn’t put any money into my billing account. So despite no money being taken & my friend not getting the £70. PayPal has left me -£70 despite neither of us having lost or received any money, please help

Received a payment from my son via friends and family and it says “we need to do a quick security check to make sure ***** logged in to send you the money, your £ payment will show as on hold for 24 hours after you receive this email” It says they’ll release it once they confirm the right person sent it, but my son has had no contact from PayPal. So will it be a 24 hour wait or a wait for PayPal to confirm he sent it? Thanks
