Hi puddin88,
Thank you for contacting the PayPal Community Forum and welcome as a new member!
I'm sorry I don't fully understand your issue, have you received the payment and initiated a withdrawal to your bank account? Can you see the funds held in a pending balance on your PayPal Account? If you have not located your funds please contact us by phone, email, Facebook or Twitter and we would be happy to help.

Hi! What happened to your appeal? Any updates? This also is happening to us at this very moment. Our Profile Name is the same as our Business Name. We have submitted a Photo ID, Utility Bill and a letter from the company requesting for our Profile Name to be changed. But it has been a week and our account is still limited and we got the same response from email requiring more documents to be submitted. We are just a start-up company and these processes are new to us. Can you also help us with this matter? I hope your account is okay now. Thank you!

Thanks to all the PayPal posters advice in getting me 'past the post' so to speak. I followed your advice and did not close the dispute despite the seller's persisting demands. PayPal refunded me the the sum owed and closed the dispute. Bottom line ..... don't give in to seller. Let the dispute run its course and allow PayPal to resolve it.

@BC1973 Hi, you can open a dispute for ''item received but not as described'' if that is what they were. But if not paypal may find against you, worth a shot though as long as you have a tracking number for the return. If not then if you funded your paypal payment via a card then talk to your card issuer and see if they will do a chargeback for you. You also have the option of the small claims court but if they have ceased trading you may be ''in a queue''.

I guess the issue is, if you give a full refund, you are out of pocket the shipping costs. You already spent the postage money, on the postage, and for nothing. It really doesnt seem fair but im not sure there is alot you can do about it im afraid. I guess you just gotta learn from it, and make sure you varify your buyers addresses in the future 🙂
