How very odd.  I never gotten a decline yet (knock on wood).  The worst thing I've experienced is not getting my purchase email notifications for 2 separate stretches of time.  But knowing about these declines occurring to those who have money in their account too, it could happen to me as well at any point. Haha! My sibling tried to use their card to buy a close-out flat screen tv yesterday but got declined. 2nd time it had happened. Card is backed by bank account and cash would have been deposited in bank before next morning, so nowcan't get the 1% back. They decided to go back to store and pay by cash today instead of waiting to add the money in PayPal account. lol ... View more

When this happens don't freak out, there is a simple solution.  You can refund the money by clicking REFUND on your transaction details page.  The entire amount will be refunded.  Then have the person resend the payment, making sure to choose the PERSONAL payment option. ... View more
