Hello I've had my paypal business debit mastercard for 15+ yrs. I use it for everything, rather than using my bank debit card. Last night it was declined while attempting to use it at a restaurant. And today it was declined at the grocery store. It's linked to my bank account, so I've never had to deposit funds into my paypal account to make purchases. I called customer service and was told that when i used it last week at the nail salon, there wasn't enough money in my bank account to cover it. I had just received a direct deposit from my job that day so not sure how that happened. Anyway my issue now is the CSR said that, moving forward, i have to make deposits into my paypal account to use the card rather than paypal pulling from my bank account. Am i being "punished" for one NSF in over 15 years? Does this sound correct? Thank you for any advice/help 🙂
