I've entered the wrong details for a return tracking number. The O on the barcode looked just like a 0 (zero) and now I've lost my refund as the number showed up as invalid. What can I do as there's no appeal decision tab on the action bar for a closed case. The proper tracking number shows the item arrived back and was signed for by the seller on the 27th. Thanks.

PayPal summary states £0.09 was paid with HSBC card, the rest with PayPal balance. Somehow the HSBC payment is now showing on PayPal balance but there's nothing showing as refunded on my HSBC account.

A pending refund of $32 has just cleared after a week. Summary states refunded to PayPal account but my available balance is just showing £0.09 from that refund. I haven't made any payments this week so where has it gone? The refund hasn't gone to my bank AC as I checked that first.

Thanks to a very helpful PayPal advisor who told me to send screenshots of the listing page to back up my appeal against their decision I can now return the item.

The PayPal advisor I spoke to told me to send screen shots of the listing as evidence. Are you telling me PayPal don't look look at any images?

Dear PPC, If and item is listed as in mint condition ie new and you are sent a second hand item is this not grounds for a return? PayPal seems to think not, and that a record I paid 518 Eros for and described as mint in the listing when in fact it's been played a lot and has someone's name stamped all over the labels isn't too different from item description to warrant a return. The record is not worth 30 Euros, yet alone 500. Any advice on how to proceed? Thanks, Simon

Called PayPal to talk to someone. They didn't have a clue what was going on. I had to correct the advisor's information several times to help them get to the heart of the problem. I paid off an outstanding balance with my back up card. PayPal still taking money out with primary account. PayPal holding incoming payments so I can't pay unauthorised overdraft on primary account created by PayPal. Now I'm getting a daily £5 bank charge. Told to call PayPal back on Monday to see if payments have cleared.

Hello, I returned a record for a refund (he made an offer of a refund, less the original postage costs for some reason but I accepted anyway) with agreement of the seller without escalating a claim. What happens next as he says the money is tied up with PayPal? Thanks. Simon
