Banggood not refunding for defective item

Banggood are not refunding for defective item. I bought a charger from Banggood that was defective and stopped working within a few minutes of use. I raised the issue with them promptly but after sending videos and photos they just keep asking more questions. It has been weeks now, and I believe they are deliberately and dishonestly attempting to indefinitely delay resolving the issue to avoid their own product guarantees and returns policy. Upon doing some research, it seems many others have had issues with Banggood. Can someone advise me how the protections Paypal offers can help with this situation? Many thanks James ... View more

I found his really frustrating but this is what worked for me. I did this on a laptop. 1. Login to Paypal.com 2. Click the cog wheel on the top right. 3. Click Security near the top of the page. 4. Click Update next to "Security key." 5. For those that do not see any option to disable / Turn Off 2-step verification, choose "Use security key" It will ask you to authenticate via text (Hopefully for the last time). The process to setup a security key failed because it's a USB dongle thing I don't have and you probably don't either. When that failed, 2 step verification was disabled and I received an email telling me it was off.   Refreshing the browser can sometimes help to make option appear (Hold shift while clicking the circular arrow at the top of your browser to the left of the URL bar)   There is clearly a concerted effort to make mobile phones necessary for everyday life and I believe this is to prepare for the gradual transition towards a fully cashless society. Use cash as much as possible to prevent this from happening and don't give in to those who try to insist you carrying a phone is essential for everyday life. ... View more

Deleting old addresses

Hello,    I was wandering if after three years paypay has managed to solve this problem. My problem can be best describe by quoting a previous post:    "I've had this problem for ages and cannot find a solution anywhere online.  It seems a lot of other people are having the same problem, but with no response or solution presented.   In my paypal account, under "profile" and "add or edit address" I have listed exactly two addresses: My home address where my bank account and credit cards are registered and my work address where I have everything I order online shipped.   However, when I check out using Paypal, I am offered a list of over a dozen addresses dating back several years.  Some of these addresses are duplicates of current my home and work addresses and some are historical, places I haven't lived or worked for 10 years in some cases.   I REALLY need those historical addresses to go away, I cannot afford to have goods shipped to the wrong address.  I have already contacted Paypal support via email on a number of occasions and each time the just link me to a FAQ pagwe whcih says I should go to "profile" and "add or edit address" and remove the addresses... whcih aren't there!   Please help, this has been driving me crazy for years!!!
