Deleting old addresses

Hello, 

I was wandering if after three years paypay has managed to solve this problem. My problem can be best describe by quoting a previous post: 

"I've had this problem for ages and cannot find a solution anywhere online.  It seems a lot of other people are having the same problem, but with no response or solution presented.

In my paypal account, under "profile" and "add or edit address" I have listed exactly two addresses: My home address where my bank account and credit cards are registered and my work address where I have everything I order online shipped.

However, when I check out using Paypal, I am offered a list of over a dozen addresses dating back several years.  Some of these addresses are duplicates of current my home and work addresses and some are historical, places I haven't lived or worked for 10 years in some cases.

I REALLY need those historical addresses to go away, I cannot afford to have goods shipped to the wrong address.  I have already contacted Paypal support via email on a number of occasions and each time the just link me to a FAQ pagwe whcih says I should go to "profile" and "add or edit address" and remove the addresses... whcih aren't there!

Please help, this has been driving me crazy for years!!! "

Please could you inform myself and the many people who are affected by this problem if/when you intend to resolve it.

I also have this problem, I see you have not had a reply which is ridiculous. I have moved country and can not have items delivered to a different country. It seems a simple task to delete old addresss's so why can it not be done ???????

I thought Paypal was supposed to be smart, I think not.

I too had this problem.  Go to CONTACT us.  Then say you want to call them.  You get a 6 digit code appear on screen which is valid for 1 hour.  Dial the freephone number and enter or say the 6 digit code.

Call the number.  The automated system uses voice recognition.  Say "make changes to my profile"  then when the voice starts reading through the list say "something else".  Transferred to a human - they will delete - took 3 minutes and they're all gone 🙂

This is still a problem - It was initially reported 3 yrs ago.  Come on PayPal, this shouldn't be too difficult to add an option to see all the Shipping Addresses tied to the account and for the user to delete them.  Where has our 3% fees gone all these years?
