I have all my payments from various sources in dollars and always convert individually (just a habit of keeping a record of payments) but as the convertion rate includes a fee, is it cheaper to convert all payments at once or will it be the same ? ... View more

It annoys me that after the fee Paypal take out the currency is always much lower than the rate of the XE website which gives all curent rates.   For instance, I have a payment of $2,236 which converts to Uk pounds as £1,355   Paypal are giving the rate of £1322 which is short a massive £35. I am sick of trying to work out for my accounting how much US dollar I have earned in UK pounds. I used to automaticly get them converted to the UK pound but now I have to do it manually using the confusing currency converter. Why has this changed ? This is frustrating. Why am I suddenly after years of recieving US dollars am I suddenly having to convert each payment myself ? Not just that, but when I convert from US dollar to UK pounds, the converter is giving it me the results the wrong way round from UK pounds to US dollar. For instance, I opt for $24 to be converted to UK pounds  and the result is $40. I then opt to convert $24 from UK pounds to dollars and the results are then correct at £16 BUT I had to get it converted the wrong way round. In both instances though I can't proceed as the "continue" button is greyed out !!! ... View more

When I look on currency converter I find that the world live rate is always quite a bit higher than the rate paypal quote when exchanging foreighn money. Why are we not getting the correct rate for our conversions ? ... View more
