What is the deal with the seriously limited reports feature in the PayPal dashboard? There's no way to just print or download searchable transactions as far as I can tell. You can do a search but once you try to download that search, it won't let you. It reroutes you a page where you can run a report but can't isolate the specific transactions you searched.    Am I doing something wrong? I'm just trying to run a report for transactions received from one specific client and there seems to be no way to do that.    I tried to download and print the transactions directly from the search page, but ended up with big blocks containing the search fields at the top of every page and with transactions cut off at page breaks.  ... The more I think about it, if you didn't change anything it had to have happened on their end. I assume you've gone over those four areas with them and confirmed that what you have and what they have is the same? I hope you haven't been the victim of identity theft.  ... View more

Now that is a different error message than I received. And in your shoes I'd be boiling mad too.. I mean you would think calling to verify your information when the automated system is unable to do so would be the natural next step. The suggestion offered to you by the rep you spoke with is lame. It seems that the support staff have different answers for everyone. What I was told (after my fourth loan was turned down on the heels of 3 others that were paid off early and all at 30 %). According to the rep I spoke with, the lender has reviewed and re-assigned industries, deeming some of them at-risk.   I was told it doesn't matter which industry you select or feel you are better suited for; these have been re-determined by whomever reviewed your account and made a decision.   It also doesn't matter whether you've demonstrated reliability / financial worthiness with previous loans (or that your chosen industry is one you consider safe). I believe this is a different situation.  There has been no increase in "time to process payments;" the notice implies that this new charge is in direct response to PayPal's fee increases.   The provider has eliminated paper checks and is now offering an alternative option, which also charges a fee. The PayPal TOS states that a you cannot "impose a surcharge or any other fee for accepting PayPal as a payment method." "You have requested an outdated version of PayPal. This error often results from the use of bookmarks."   I'm getting this message when I try to click the "express checkout" link at the bottom of the page. I've already cleared out all cookies, am not using a bookmark.  Does anyone know how to bypass this?  I'm specifically looking for a way to generate an email hyperlink for payment.  Thank you.  ... Student Account -- Known Issue but no resolution i...

My daughter's student account was deactivated last week.  It wasn't even an intentional deactivation, I was unchecking a few different boxed to restrict bank access, etc.  There was no warning, such as "Are you sure you want to do this?  You're getting ready to deactivate her card and plunge her into PayPal **bleep**."    Anyway there are settings to reactivate the card and to allow her to use the card but they're greyed out on my end.  When I call into PayPal (5 times now in the last 9 days) I get CS reps who seem to be able to fix it on their end, and an email is generated to my daughter telling her she can now use her card again.  But she can't. Ever.   The CS reps are always awesome. They always try several different options, and again it seems to work on their end.  But not on ours.  The current status is that they're aware of the issue, have escalated it to the technicians but have no sense of when it will be fixed (or if it's even being addressed at this time).   The workaround I've been given is to cancel her card, open a new one and start fresh.  But as she is stranded on the other side of the country in an RV with no mailing address, this isn't an option for us.    It was suggested that I post this in the forums.   To warn other parents not to deactivate their student's cards for one thing.  But also because there may be suggestions or updates posted here regarding any progress in the resolution of this issue. ...
