Hello brijitha,   Welcome to the community.   I believe the best solution for you would be to enable "Instant Payment Notifications" (IPN) for your PayPal account. IPN is a message service that PayPal uses to notify you about various action that happen in your account i.e. instant payments, express checkout, eChecks, etc.   Click here to view the IPN Guide for more detailed information. Hello hockeymomma,   Welcome to the community. Yes you can add a box for notes. When creating the PayPal payment buttons you will want to scroll to the bottom of the page, and click on "Step 3: Customize advanced features". In there you will have an option that says "Can your customer add special instructions in a message to you?". By selecting yes buyers will have a box that holds up to 40 characters for them to add customization notes.   Regards, BJ ... View more

Hi cyrricky,   Welcome to the forum. The business settings for a student account can be changed, but it needs to be done from your parent's account. Ask your parent to log in to their PayPal account, click on your name in the overview page, then click "Permissions / notifications". Hi kandktech,   Welcome to the forum. PayPal provides all buyers the option to pay by credit card if the sellers PayPal account is verified with a confirmed email address. You will also want to make sure that "PayPal Account Optional" is turned on in your PayPal account, however this option is set to on by default. Hi BonitaBanana,   Welcome to the forum. When it comes to ATM, & Debit cards they can only be used if they display a major credit card company logo (i.e. Visa, or Mastercard). If the card doesn't have a major credit card logo it cannot be used in the virtual terminal.   Regards, BJ ... View more

Hello BigRedMike,    A quick solution may be to delete the button, and create a new one. If that doesn't fix the problem then we could be looking at a few different scenarios.   We first should make sure you are logged in to your PayPal account while creating the button since it can be done without logging in. There also could have been system updates when you were testing which caused sporadic errors.   If those suggestions don't work take a look here for more information on subscription buttons.   Regards, BJ ... Hi MikeSire,   Welcome to the boards. I'm sorry, but there isn't a code available to edit the PayPal checkout page. PayPal is rolling out a new enchanced checkout page which shows "Log in to my PayPal account", and below that "Don't have a PayPal account?". A large majority of accounts are on the new enhanced checkout and the rest should have it within a few months.   I bet this change will be closer to what you are looking for.   Regards, BJ ... Hi bosomblockers,   Welcome to the boards.   I reviewed the URL supplied, and it appears you are no longer using drop downs with your add to card buttons. Hello jakz,   Sorry to hear you got some frustrating information from the phone support I'll work to get some better education to them. I have good news for you though it is possible to get a report of just payments sent for shipping; the drawback is the information can only be downloaded 90 days at a time.   You will need to access the reports dashboard which can be done by several ways depending on your account type. A generalized method is as follows:    1. After logging in to your account type in the URL business.paypal.com. You will then be in the reports dashboard. 2. Depending on your account type one of two views will be shown. Click the last link on the right which will either state "Advanced search", or "Transaction finder". 3. Select a 90 day date range. 4. Click on the "Transaction type" dropdown menu, and select shipping. 5. Click Search, and your results will populate below. Depending on the amount of information this could take a few minutes.   You may then print, or download the report as a PDF, Excel, CSV, or TAB file format.   Regards, BJ ... View more
