Same exact situation for me. US Citizen with a PayPal account for almost 10 years now, yet can't update my credit card & bank billing info now that I live in Europe (but still have all US accounts). No option other than "USA" is listed in address field. Come On Pay Pal: get with the times! It's 2011, lots of people live abroad!

Hey all ~ I have recently moved out of the USA and am trying to change my PayPal address to Sweden but I can't do it (only USA addresses seem to be accepted). Why is this and has anyone found a work-around? My bank account and credit cards linked to PayPal are all American banks, so I don't get this.

Sodpa ~ pay no attention to any "advice" given by Sandy Purins. She is a known PayPal employee with tens of thousands of posts on the eBay message board as well: Always blaming us for PayPal's problems. I also never changed my checking account info and had up-to-date credit card expiration dates in my PayPal account, yet I was never able to pay for that transaction with Instant Transfer (I had to use a credit card even though I did not want to). It has not happened to me since, luckily, but PayPal to this day has never given me any reason why Instant Transfer did not work.

Yep ~ I am going thru the exact same thing myself. USPS Delivery Confirmation proves package was delivered, yet I need to call PP, wait on hold, and explain the situation to get MY funds released! This is INSANITY!!!!!!!

Really Amanda?? I have a 100% feedback rating, been selling on eBay and using PayPal for 9 years, and have no disputes against me, yet I also received the 21 day hold e-mail....and NO "sorry this was a mistake" correction e-mail. Why am I being subject to this nonsense?

I have been waiting since November 17, 2009 for a seller to send me an item I won and paid for on eBay. After getting the run around for a couple weeks from him, I opened up a PayPal dispute. The seller then stopped replying to me completely and I still have not received my item after 2+ months. After escalating this to a PP Claim, I now got an e-mail from PP today saying: "Because you reported that this claim has been amicably resolved, this case has been closed." Say What?! When did I ever tell PP that I "amicably resolved" this with the seller? So now the case is closed and I am out $48 and no auction item. This B.S. coupled with the 21 day hold e-mail I got a couple weeks ago has me FUMING. Anyone else experience this type of claim closing nonesense?

But I am a long time eBayer & PayPal'r (sicne 2001), have 100% feedback and not one dispute filed against me and I still got the 21 day hold B.S. e-mail....but no "technical error" correction e-mail. What gives?
