I am a new PayPal user, and my questions might seem silly, but I just want to understand how the service works since it was different when I used it several years ago. I received $7 on my PayPal account from a friend. I just wanted to test if withdrawing money to my card works, but PayPal placed it on hold for 21 days. To unlock the funds, I am being asked to "Add Tracking" and do other things related to sales. However, this was not a sale, and I am not selling anything now. My questions are: Does this always happen? Am I doing something wrong if I just ask a friend to send me money for a beer via PayPal, and this service isn’t suitable for that if I don’t want to wait 21 days and attach a tracking code to something that doesn’t exist? I sometimes provide services and want to ask clients to send me money via PayPal. Services don’t have a tracking code, and I don’t want to create any Orders; I simply pay taxes and do other documentation in my way in my country. Is PayPal also not suitable for this kind of use?
