I had moved from my previous address and forgot to have all my mail forwarded because I didn’t change address with USPS. I recently went to the city I had lived in and picked up a lot of mail which one was a debt collector for a paypal account in my name that went into the negatives. I do remember opening a paypal account and having a debit card, but the phone number associated with the account was turned off and I didn’t change the number before it happened and couldn’t login because of verification and forgetting the password. I then had just forgot about it, because I had a zero balance. I don’t know how my account got into the negatives, because it wasn’t a credit card, only debit. I now have a new account, with new email, and new phone number, but tried getting the debit card but it keeps giving same message that something went wrong. I try to talk to paypal about the account, but they can never find it, not with my SSN, or the mobile number I had when I did have the Debit Card. How can I view the transaction Activity of this account that’s in collections, so I can see why and how it went into negatives? So I can then challenge whichever activity that wasn’t authorized by me to have this debt removed from my credit report or checksystems profile so I can then be able to receive a new debit card in my new current account. I had also found other accounts that went into default, that I didn’t even open myself, and Im unsure as to what my next step should be?
