Last week I agreed to purchase a mobile phone from a seller on an app for selling goods. All message's are recorded. Unfortunately, I believe it was a scam, that she was never going to send me this phone and just wanted to obtain the money. I don't qualify for buyers protection ( I raised a case in the resolution centre but could only select report unauthorised activity) but is there anything else that can be done? I could request to be paid but obviously they will not send me back my money. It was a lot of money and was for an Xmas gift. Any help is gratefully appreciated
