Hi there Pixie1,   It could be the case that the funds have been placed on hold from your sellers PayPal account but we would not be able to provide any information on this to you. You are being advised the correct information by asking your seller to contact PayPal directly.   I will advise also that if you don't receive your item over the next few days, you can open a dispute on the transaction through your account if you wish in order to try and get your money refunded to your account.   I hope this information helps,   David. ... Hi, I'm in a similar predicament myself for almost a week ,advice from paypal is to open a dispute through their resolution center. Data protection will not allow paypal to divulge details of either the buyer or sellers account details to one and other even though they are both paypal account holders  and exchanging and receiving monies with each other. In other words a seller or a buyer can  give each other whatever reason they want to each other without it being verified to the buyer or seller. This is the reason why they advise to open a dispute as e-mails between the buyer and seller can be tracked by paypal. if one or the other does not respond then paypal then go to the next stage of the dispute if it has not been resolved at that stage.
